Mary R. (Piscitelli) Prizio, 89, of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday December 24, 2014 in the UMASS Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.Mary is survived by her devoted son, Francis Prizio and his wife Gail (Kamataris) Prizio; a grandson, Brian of Holden; a sister, Ann Dempsey; and her brothers, Felix, Marino and Joseph Piscitelli. She leaves a close step granddaughter, Kara, and her daughter Bianca. She was predeceased by a sister, Rose Piscitelli and two brothers, Frank and Anthony Piscitelli.

Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Marino and Michalina (DiSilvestro) Piscitelli and lived in Shrewsbury and New York for many years before returning to Worcester. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne's in Shrewsbury and also Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Ann. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, but most of all being with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

A private service for immediate family only will be held on Saturday May 9, in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Shrewsbury Nursing Home, 40 Julio Dr., Shrewsbury MA 01545.
