Born: January 1, 1951, in Cherryville, PA, he was a son of the late Bertram Henry and Rose Marie Deutsch Briggs.
Personal: He and his wife, the former Cathy Ann "Katie" Nodoline, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on April 16, 2014.
Bob was manager of Eastern US Operations for Pilgrim Land Services. He graduated from Allen High School Class of 1968.
Bob was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed taking his wife's 1953 five window Chevy truck to car shows.
Memberships: He was a member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Co., Citizens Hose Co., Avona Volunteer Fire Co. and Wilson Boro Republican Club.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Katie,
he is survived by three daughters, Brandy Briggs, of Allentown, Kaitlyn E. Patton and her husband Ethan, of Chattanooga, TN and Marissa R. Briggs, at home; four brothers, David, of Macungie, Donald, of Lancaster, Gary, of Kutztown and Dale, of Arizona; and
his English Bulldog, Stewie.
He was predeceased by a sister, Patsy and his Miniature Doxie, Earl.
Services:
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at 1pm Sunday in Safety First Volunteer Fire Co., 307 6th Street, West Easton, followed by a time of food and fellowship.
Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife, Cathy, c/o the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Easton, PA 18042, to be used to establish a scholarship in Bob's name for an Allen High School student.
