Edna Mae Townsley, 62, died at 3:37 PM Thursday, March 16, 2000, due to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident on South River Road, which also injured her son, Larry A. Swisher, who remains hospitalized. They made their home together in West Lafayette.
Born May 7, 1937, at Tazewell, TN, she was educated at Klondike High School, and had lived in the Lafayette area since 1940. [Her marriage was to Robert Swisher.] Ms. Townsley was a homemaker. Surviving with her son is a sister, Betty S. Howard of Montmorenci.
