The eldest son of Thomas and Lucy Dew graduated in Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. The marker is too worn to read. The year of birth seems to state 1796. The year of death is surmised by the 1850 and 1860 census records. In 1860 Dr. Dew is not listed, and his wife, Susan, is the head of household.
