Ben Hardy Jr. died in Iran Dec. 22 1951 in a plane crash. He was listed as a Public Affairs Officer of the State Dept. and the crash was called the Misr Air Airline Crash. His remains were cremated and sent back to the USA. This is not a correction but is additional information about his death. There is a report filed about him and about the accident under "Reports of Deaths of American Citizens Abroad."
