Dr. Robert “Bob” B. Schanzer, Colonel, United States Army, Retired, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2015, at his home in Garden Ridge, Texas after a 13 year battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Camden, New Jersey on February 2, 1951, to Stephan and Kay Schanzer. He graduated from Frankfurt (Germany) High School in 1969 and then attended the University of Kansas and the University of Texas in Austin. He graduated from UT Dental School San Antonio in 1979. He then spent many years traveling the world as an Army Dentist. Bob loved the outdoors, riding his Harley, antiquing, gardening, and traveling.
