My great aunt Edna was born on Feb 27 1907 in Mill Creek (part of Mena) AR to Phillip William Lewis and Martha Ann Shed. Her name was Mary Ila Edna Lou Amanda Minerva Rhoda Hortensa. She was named for her maternal and paternal aunts. Her sister Alma, (my grandmother) did not know why Edna ended up with all of the names but she was always 'Edna'.
Edna was the 7th of 10 children. Her siblings were:
Maude, Luther, Pearl, 'Vina', Alma, Henry, Ida, Fred and Lorena. Alma, Fred and Lorena survived her.
Edna married Herschel Perry Meuser on Aug 26 1925 in Polk County, AR with S H Smith, JP presiding.
Edna and Herschel had 3 children:
George William Meuser (1927-1994)
Irma Lee Meuser (Elmer) Thompson (1928-1977)

Edna died at Corona Regional Medical Center at the age of 95. At the time of her passing, Edna was survived by 5 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, as will as 2 sisters and a brother (mentioned above).
