Landon Gene Logan, 84, of Burleson passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Landon was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Thornton to Thomas Landon Logan and Ruby Nichols. He proudly served his country as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 37 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors: Wife, Glenda Logan of Burleson; children, Gina Hernandez of White Settlement, Denny Roberts and wife, Peggy, of North Richland Hills, Debrah Hendrick of Fort Worth and Mark Roberts and wife, Candy, of Granbury; grandchildren, Jordan Crawley and husband, Daniel, of Fort Worth and their twin sons, Beau and Deacon; eight other grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Holton of Waco and Mary Staley of Marlin; and brother, Frank Logan of Mexia.
