CALDWELL — Services for John Dee Grubb, 23, USN, who was killed in a car accident Saturday near Thistle, Utah, while en route to duty at Kirtland AFB at Albuquerque, N. M., will be held at 10:30 Saturday at the Flahiff chapel. The Rev. Albert Darling of the Caldwell Free Methodist church will officiate. Interment will be in Canyon Hill.
Mr. Grubb was born May 17, 1935 at Wenatchee, Wash. He attended schools in Caldwell and was graduated from Caldwell high school with class of 1954. He attended the University of Idaho for a semester before entering the Navy.
His survivors include his mother, Mrs. Helen Biccard of Grand View, Wash.; his father, John Grubb of Walla Walla, Wash.; a brother, James Grubb who is en route home after serving 13 months in the U. S. offices in Paris, France; his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Wright of Caldwell with whom he lived since he was about seven years old.
