In Stafford. Angelo R. Abatte, 77, of Lakeshore Blvd., Staffordville, died Friday (Aug. 10) at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Italy and came to this country as a boy, settling in the Hartford area, and moving to Stafford in 1947.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy (DePasquale) Abatte; a son, Louis Abatte of Stafford; a daughter, Gloria Walker of Stafford; four sisters, Mrs. Jean Mazzo of Wethersfield, Mrs. Josephine Adams of Andover, Mrs. Rose Peterson of Pompano, Fla., and Mrs. Minnie La-Violette of Hialeah, Fla.; six grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday, 9:30 a.m., at the Tochetti Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., Stafford, with the Rev. Kuzdal officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford.
