P. Y.: This is the gravestone of Peter Younts, eldest son of Rudolph and Katy Younts, born 10 November 1777 in Rowan Co, North Carolina. He was married abt 1797 to Elizabeth Weavel/Weaver, daughter of Stephen Weavel. They had several daughters and 2 sons, John & Peter, who were not of age at the time of his will, written 28 June 1833. He died 20 Sept 1838. His wife died sometime after 1850 and is buried next to him with an unmarked gravestone identical to his.
