Mr. David Jacob Stephens Sr. went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the age of 50. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. Mr. Stephens was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Preceding him in death were his father, David Wayne Stephens; mother, Marijane Konrad Stephens; and brother, Jerry Wayne Stephens. David leaves behind his spouse, Shannon Lynn Stephens of Gadsden; David leaves behind his spouse, Shannon Lynn Stephens of Gadsden; sons, David Jacob Stephens Jr. (Brittney) of Rainbow City, Brandon Michael Lee Stephens of Southside; daughters, Nikki Kelley of Altoona, Starla Stephens Day (Craig) of Rainbow City; sister, Regena Lawson Allen (Tim) of Lincoln; brothers, Kent Alan Lawson (Cathy) of Attalla, Eugene Leonard Lawson of Southside, John William Stephens of Southside; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Allanah Duffey, Natalie Alyssa McGraw; grandsons, Richard Blake Reed, Jacob Dylan Reed, Hayden Nathaniel Day; special niece, Amanda Jane Stephens of Rainbow City.
