MISS JULIA EDMONDS DEAD
Miss Julia Edmonds, sister of Ed Edmonds of Isabella, died in a hospital at Kansas City [Missouri] at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Miss Edmonds had been making her home with her sister, Mrs. Isaac Anderson [Mary Caroline Edmonds Anderson] and family in that city since the death of Mr. [Isaac] Anderson.
Relatives here learned of her illness only a few days before word reached here Saturday morning telling of her serious condition. Ed Edmonds and R. [Roland] O. Edmonds and wife started immediately for Kansas City, arriving there at 8 o'clock that evening.
The body was shipped to West Plains where it was taken in charge of by the Thornburgh undertakers who brought it to the home of her brother, Ed Edmonds, near Isabella, on Tuesday.
Burial was made in the cemetery at Isabella on Wednesday evening.
