Mr. George A. Brown, age 88 of McCaysville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015. Mr. Brown was born on December 14, 1926 to the late Avery Brown & Nell Glazner Brown. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville Copperhill. He was preceded in death by sister Lillian Farmer.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, two daughters & son-in-laws, one sister and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA. with the Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery located in Polk County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
