Dorothy M. Shaklette, 79, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Jewish Hospital.
She was a retired social worker at the University of Louisville Hospital and a member of Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Jessie B. (Cecil) Talbott; and several nieces and nephews, which include Rev. Arthur, Donald E., Victor L. and Rev. Gregory F. Smith and Isaac E. Mason.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Portland Memorial Baptist Church, 3800 W. Market Street, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday at W.P. Porter Mortuary, 2611 Virginia Ave and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the church.
