Steven Scott Baker, 51, of Combs, Arkansas, died June 10, 2015 at his home. He was born August 10, 1963 at Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Howard Lee and Joan Elizabeth Floyd Baker. He was an employee of the University of Arkansas and was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Roosevelt and Bertha Baker.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Wayne and Stephanie Burk of Ecru, Mississippi; one daughter, Angelica Lea Baker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his mother, Joan Smith of Combs, Arkansas; two brothers, Tony Floyd of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Chris Smith of Combs, Arkansas; one sister, Kansandra Shaw of Lowell, Arkansas and five grandchildren.
Steven Baker, who worked in University of Arkansas Grounds Shop since 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Gary Faulkner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home
