SCHOLLY – Thelma Dona, 86, Johnstown, passed away June 11, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 6, 1928, in Johnstown, PA daughter of William and Mildred (Peer) Clark.

Preceded in death by parents; brother, Valjean Clark; and daughter-in-law, Cecilia Scholly.

Survived by husband of 70 years, Edward Scholly; children, Edward, Carlisle, Pa.; Joseph, and wife, Esther, Columbia, Pa.; Donald, and wife, Patricia, Johnstown; Kathleen Lensie, and husband, Thomas, Spartanburg, S.C.; John, and wife, Barbara, Hendersonville, N.C.; and James, and wife, Doreen, East Leroy, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Thelma loved reading, playing cards and spending time with family. She had a great memory and loved sharing memories from her past. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to St. Benedict’s Building Fund. (www.hendersonfuneralhome.com)
