DALLAS CENTER -- A funeral for Luther Homer Boll, 99, of Adel and formerly of Dallas Center was held June 18, 1991 at the United Methodist Church here. Mr. Boll died of a heart ailment on June 15 at Adel Acres Care Center.
The son of Anthony and Mary Rowe Boll, he was born at Newville, Pa. on March 1, 1892. He married Nina Poessnecker on Jan. 6, 1915 at Dallas Center. He operated a dairy farm near Dallas Center until his retirement in 1963, when he moved to Dallas Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife; by a son, John Roger, by two sisters, Ethel and Annie;d by two brothers, Ralph and Harvey; and by three half brothers, John, Lewis and Elmer.
Survivors include a son, L. Howard Boll of Dallas Center; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
