CALDWELL—The Rev. Terrell C. Newby, 71, died Wednesday morning at his home at 913 Dearborn street. He was minister of the Caldwell Church of God of Prophecy.
He was born March 4, 1883, in Indiana. He married Nola Downard in June of 1946 at Broadus, Mont. His first wife had died earlier. He came to Caldwell in 1948 from Montana. Among survivors are his wife, Nola Newby, Caldwell; three, sons, Nolan Newby, Caldwell, Terrell Newby, Spring Valley, Cal., Nicolaus Newby, address unknown; one step-son, Robert Downard, Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Anderson and Mrs. Stanley Cole, both of Tacoma, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Newby, Le Havre, Mont.; one sister living in Chinook, Mont.; three brothers, Nixon Newby, Eugene, Ore., Lester Newby, Red land, Cal., Arthur Newby, Redmond, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.
Services are being arranged by Davis-Warrick chapel.
