Fred was buried to the right of his father's grave.
There is a small stone marked in blue paint with his name, but no death date.
He was the son of Edward Grant Alsup & Frances Armina Tevis.
Fred had a yearly ritual with his chickens. Every spring, he would steal a duck egg from a nest and place it under a hen's nest. When the eggs would hatch, the duck would go right for a pond and swim in it. The mother hen would go nuts on the edge of the pond, until the duckling swam back ashore.
