Wilbur C. Coombs, 64, of 28 Canniff Court, was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy Medical Center Wednesday at 4 p.m. He was taken there from his fishing shanty on Lake Winnebago, where he suffered a heart attack.

He was born in Chicago on Dec. 17, 1907, son of George and Nina Coombs, and was married to Rose Pollack on Sept. 14, 1928.

Mr. Coombs was a salesman for Cole Tool Co., Chicago Heights. He attended Plymouth Congregational Church, and was a member of the Otter Street Fishing Club and United Commercial Travelers.

Surviving are his widow, R6se; one son, Howard Coombs, Oshkosh; four daughters, Linda and Lorraine Coombs, Mrs. James (Beverly) Decker and Mrs. Wayne (Sally) Wesner, Oshkosh; three brothers, Gilman Coombs, Wisconsin Rapids, Irwin Coombs, Sedona, Calif., and George Coombs, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. William Fitz, Miami, Ariz., and Mrs. Florence Martina, Oshkosh, and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements for services are pending at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel. A memorial has been established.
