Ernesto Ramirez was born in Durango, Durango, Mexico in 1929. He lived in Durango for most of his 74 years. He married Margarita Martinez in the early 1940's. They had 12 children. He traveled to the U.S. often to visit his children and grandchildren. He and his wife ran a local market and the children loved visiting him. He sold candy and Coca Cola drinks. He was loved by many of the neighborhood children and families. He will always be missed by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
