David Keith Bonzo, 65, of Franklin Furnace, OH, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015, at his residence. The Portsmouth, OH native was born May 15, 1950, a son of Albert and Rosella Riddlebarger Bonzo of Franklin Furnace, OH.

He is also survived by
his wife, Aida Gonzalez Bonzo, whom he married August 1, 1987;
a son, Keith Bonzo;
three daughters and five grandchildren, Kayla Bonzo: Jessica (Ron) Miller and her children, Avery Miller and Creed Miller: Melissa Bonzo Blagg and her children, Austin Blagg, Ryleigh Blagg and Carsen Blagg;
a step-daughter, Kendra Staten;
a brother, Randy Bonzo;
a sister, Shawna Bowen.

He was a graduate of Green Township High School with the class of 1968 and was in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a former locomotive operator for AK Steel, retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service and attended the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Powellsville, Ohio. He loved farming and was one of the largest tobacco producers in Southern Ohio.

He was preceded in death by
a son, Joshua Bonzo.

Funeral service at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH with Pastor Carl Beck officiating. Burial in the Saint John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Powellsville, Scioto County, OH.
