Robert Joseph Mahoney
Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Sept. 20th, 2013 at age 87. Robert was born in Fulerton, Nebraska to James and Vesta Mahoney on May 9th, 1926, spending his early years in St. Edward Nebraska. Robert joyed the Navy when he was old enough to enlist and settled tn the Pacific Northwest when he finished his tour. After working for Kenworth and then Leckenby he spent many years as a welding instructor at Green River Community College, where he retired after many rewording years of teaching. Robert is survived by his wife Gudrun Mahoney, with whom he shared 59 loving years. Also one sister, Mary Baustert, and one brother, Leo Mahoney. He is survived by one daughter and two grandchildren,
A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on October 16, 2013 at 1 pm.
