Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hale's Memorial Chapel in Davis with the
Rev. Glen Eaves officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery
in Sulphur. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hale's Funeral Home of Davis.

Services for Dorothea Jean Scott, 80, of Sulphur will be Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m. at
Hale's Memorial Chapel in Davis. A private inurnment will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in
Sulphur. She was born Feb. 8, 1928, in McAlester to Fred A. and Ivory (Brown) Ritchey and
died Jan. 4, 2009, in Sulphur. She married Everett Leroy Smith Sr. on Feb. 20, 1947, in
McAlester, and he preceded her in death March 2002. Survivors include: two sons, Ronald
Glenn Scott and Richard Scott, both of Sulphur; one brother; two sisters; six
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
