COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Services for James G. Wadlow, 72, Ardmore, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006, at Nilson Funeral Home in Columbia, Mo., with the Rev. David Schawo officiating. Interment will be at Jacksonville State Veterans Cemetery; in Jacksonville, Mo.
Born on May 31, 1934, in Annapolis, Mo., to Gilbert and Vergie Wadlow, he died on Friday, June 23, 2006, at the veterans hospital in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Gilbert Wadlow in 1956; his parents; a brother and sister.
He married the former Rose A. Brown.
Survivors include his wife, of the home in Ardmore; two sons, James William Wadlow and wife, Patsy, Columbia, Martin Thomas Wadlow and wife, Stacy, Grover Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Rose Marie Dunn and husband, Joe, Ironton, Mo., JoAnn Harris and husband, Roscoe, Arkansas, Sue Counts and husband, Bobby, Salem, Mo.; six grandchildren, Adam, Jeramey, Issac, Hanna, Joel and Caleb; and a great-grandson, Ethan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
