Nathan Glosson was born in Georgia in 1888. His parents were Robert S. and Margaret (Roberts) Glosson
His family moved to Alabama when he was about 6-9 years old. His mother died there in 1901, when he was 13, a few days after giving birth to her eighth child (who also did not live).

The family moved back to Georgia at some point, where Nathan's father died in 1906.

Nathan married Mary J. Taylor, daughter of David S. and Mary Taylor. They lived in Atlanta where Nathan worked as a "carpenter foreman". They had at least three children.

Nathan was described in his WWI draft card as medium height and medium build with blue eyes and brown hair.

He died in Fulton County, Georgia in 1963. Mary died in the same county in 1967. Their place of burial is not yet discovered.
