Bio: Emmett G. Daniels Sr., of Quinton, Oklahoma, passed away June 6, 2015, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. He was born May 5, 1932, in the Lona Valley community, of Kinta, Oklahoma, to Albert and Ora (Qualls) Daniels. Emmett served honorably in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. He made his home in Brooken and Russellville for the last 57 years. He is survived by; His wife: Inez Daniels of the home Three sons: Emmett Garland Daniels, Jr. and wife, Teresa, of Vian, Oklahoma Mikeal Ray Daniels and wife, Madonna, of Eufaula, Oklahoma Joe Davis Daniels and wife, Denice, of Quinton, Oklahoma Five sisters: Elizabeth Ann Wagnon Linda White Mary Monks Melissa Bartling Clementine Vines 13 Grandchildren: Butch and Jennifer, Scott and Amber, Micah and Jessica, TJ, Clinton (Jr) and Amanda, John and Ashley, Jared Clayton and Kara, Larryd and Mickayla, and Jillian Daniels, Robin and Kyle Martin, Kaylauna and Allen Monroe, Katie and Jonathon Lyle, Erika and Tucker Martens 21 Great Grandchildren: Hayden, Dillion, Triston, Alyssa, Kali, Phynix, Molly, Julia, Lilith, Bryce, Brennan, Madison, Aliviah, Wryan, Levi, Olive, and Felix Daniels, Claudia McDaniel, Kylie, and Kadence Martin, Kannon Martens and another on the way Emmett was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Albert Daniels; three brothers, Albert Dorsey Lee Daniels, Billy Ray Daniels, and Paul Daniels; and two sisters, Adela Daniels,and Loetta Johnson.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, June 11, 2015 at West Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Jared Clayton Daniels, Joe Daniels, and Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory.
