Bashie Giles, age 94, of Newport, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Smith and Kris Giles; infant son, D.J.; parents, Stanberry and Pheobe McMahan; seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Evert) Pannell of Newport; grandson Chad (Anna) Shaver of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Bobby Samples officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thurday, June 11, 2015 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Wendneday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
