L. Carl Dawson, 89, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at his Peoria residence.
Born Sept. 1, 1910, in Wyoming, Ill., to Fred and Addie Graves Dawson, he married Mildred Kathryn Willey on July 28, 1940, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard (and Rose) and Randy; and two daughters, Melody (and Keith) Bundy and Carla (and Dennis) Erber.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
He was a machinist for Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria and Mossville.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
