Decatur-Randy W. Allen, 47, of Decatur died 5:27a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 30, 1998) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. Services will be 10a.m. Monday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 3 to 8p.m. Sunday. Burial willbe in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Allen was born in Tuscola, the son of Richard and Ester Day Allen. He had worked at Firestone Tire Co. for 26 years and was a member of United Steel Workers Local 713. Surviving are his wife, Kathy; children Richard W. Allen, Stacy L. Pygott and husband Andrew and Brandy J. Allen, all of Decatur; parents of Decatur; grandchildren, Kourtney and Kelsey Pygott; brothers, Steve Allen and wife Cathy of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Mark Allen of Decatur; sisters, Kathy Gadberry of LaGrange, Ky.; Nora Waters of Decatur. A loving husband, father, who will be sadly missed.
