ALBANY Margaret V. Afinowicz, 93, formerly of Columbia Street, Cohoes died at the Villa Mary Immaculate, Albany, July 10, 2003 after a long illness. She was born and educated in Watervliet and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Volk. She was a secretary for NYS Audit and Control, retiring in the early 1970s. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church, Cohoes. She was the wife of the late Michael Afinowicz; and sister of the late Mary V. Addis and Pauline E. Volk. She is survived by her nephew, Thomas Afinowicz of Albany. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes and 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
