John S. Dungan,age 30,and a native of Clackamas county,died at noon today at St. Vincent's hospital,Portland.Bright's disease was the direct cause of death. Mr. Dungan had been confined at the hospital for six weeks and toward the last suffered intensely.His nearest relative is Mrs. Martin Baty of Bend,formerly a resident of Molalla,who was here to be near her brother.
John Dungan was born and raised at Molalla and for many years was employed at the Robbins Bros. store at that place. He had been visitng in Bend with his sister when he was stricken with Bright's disease and was hurried to Portland.Funeral arrangements are being made today.

Oregon City,Or. December 16--One of the largest attended funerals ever held in the Molalla country was that this afternoon of the late John S. Dungan.Born in Molalla,the son of Mr. And Mrs. Frank H. Dungan,both dead,John Dungan had grown from boyhood to young manhood in that locality.As a boy he entered the employ of the Robbins Brothers establihment and continued there up to the time he was compelled by sickness last August to give up work.He was particularly well liked.A number from Oregon City attended the funeral,conducted by Rev. Mr. Williams,interment being made in Adams cemetery beside his parents.
