**Update 11/3/2017**
After further DNA comparison and research it's been concluded that William Burgess was the son of John "Jack" Acord (1796-1898). Triangulated segments were matched on chromosome 15.

James R. O. - descendant of William Floyd Acord who was a son of John "Jack" Acord. My husband and James share DNA on chromosome 15 for 12cM.

Robin B. - descendant of Nicatie Cherokee Acord who was a daughter of John "Jack" Acord. My husband and Robin share DNA on chromosome 15 for 13cM.

YDNA had already concluded this Burgess line is really of male ACORD descent. It was just a matter of which Acord was William Burgess' father.
