Jack Aduddell, 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 25, 2006. He was born Nov. 14, 1916 in Blanchard, OK to Carl and Allie Aduddell. After his three years of service with the U.S. Army, he returned to OKC where he worked for twenty-eight years owning and operating several trucks and retiring as Service Manager at H.J. Jeffries Truck Lines. Known affectionately to his family as 'Action Jack'. His only real passion was his family and children, although he did like a good rodeo especially the bull riding. A Christian man who put his Lord and family first. He was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene for fifty years where he taught Sunday School in the Junior Boys Dept. and served on the Church Board for many years. A man of tremendous integrity. There was never a contract more binding than a handshake with him. We were fortunate to have a man with such a positive influence on our lives as a father. He was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Maxine Thompson Aduddell; brothers, Truman, Earl, Alfus, Arthur and Ray; and sisters, Olive Pirrong and Opal Whitaker. Survivors include his wife Jean of 34 years; sister, Charlsta and husband Jack Davidson; children, Sandie and Johnnie Adair, Randy and Debbie Aduddell, David and Carol Aduddell, Tim and Ruth Aduddell, and Reg and Dana Aduddell; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mildred Aduddell; various nieces and nephews; and many friends. Services will be held Thursday, June 29th at 10:00 AM, Trinity Church of the Nazarene with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
