Dennis Glenn Belt, age 80 of Henderson, KY, passed away at 12:25 A.M., Thursday, June 4, 2015, under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

Dennis retired after 29 years as an industrial mechanic for Custom Resin. He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and the Henderson Elks Lodge #206 where he had held the position of Exhalted Ruler. As well as enjoying gardening, Dennis was a great cook and will always be remembered for his pies and milk gravy. He was a good dad, a hard working man and loved his family. He often amazed people in that he could fix anything in need of repair.

In addition to his parents, Williamd and Hazel Belt, Dennis is preceded in death by two wives, Shirley Ann Belt and Anna Rose Belt, infant grandson, Cody Glenn Belt; two sisters, Carolyn S. Franklin and Norma Belt.

Survivors include:
Two daughters: Donna Harmon and husband, Pat Montana.
Deanie Wall and husband, Randy of Tennessee.
Step-daughter: Jill Simpson, Hopkinsville, KY.
Two sons:
Kevin Belt and Stephanie Sweatt, Bowling Green, KY
Rodney Belt and wife, Kathy, Henderson, KY.
Step-son: Patrick Simpson, Hopkinsville, KY.
Sister: Vera Frazer, Lexington, KY.
Four brothers:
Ray E. Belt and wife, Ruby, Eddyville, KY.
Paul Belt and wife, Sharon, Marion, KY.
Jerry Belt and wife Kay, Marion, KY.
Doyle Belt and wife, Lois, Frankfort, KY.
Fifteen grandchildren
Seventeen great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dennis's Life Celetration from 4-8 P.M. Friday and again on Saturday starting at 10:00 A.M. at Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June6, 2015 at the funeral home with the Reverend Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY. An Elk memorial service will be held on Friday at 7:30 P.M.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
