Delmar R. Yoder, 84, of Washington died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Halcyon House in Washington, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Fox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the Washington Community Y.
Mr. Yoder was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Nira to Eli and Annie (Bissev) Yoder. He married F. Maxine Jackson on June 29, 1942, in Pageland, S.C. She preceded him in death in 2002.
