MRS. EDWARD ACKLEY

Mrs. Gertrude M. Ackley, 47, of this village, wife of Edward Ackley, died at the Wayland hospital Sunday night, following an illness of only a few hours. She was taken suddenly ill that afternoon and died soon after arrival at the hospital.

Mrs. Ackley was born in Lima April 12, 1892, the daughter of Charles and Anna Moore Farley. She had resided in Wayland for the past twelve years.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willard Yost of Canandaigua and Mrs. Azel Carpenter of Wayland; her father, Charles Farley of North Bloomfield; one brother, Earl, of East Bloomfield, several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at the home on Hamilton street yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. E. W. Bittner officiating, and burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery, Lima.
