Obituary:
Services for John T. Clark, 66, Oskaloosa, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Mr. Clark died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

He was born June 24, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Benjamin T. and Doris Bean Clark. He graduated from McLouth High School in 1957.

Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Transit Bus Company in Lawrence as a bus driver in 2002. He was a pilot, aircraft builder and a member of the National Experimental Aircraft Assn.

He married Joan Tarr on June 9, 1961, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Doris Clark, Omaha, Neb.; a son, Michael Clark, Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Kathy Jones, Lawrence; three brothers, Charles, Linwood, David, Kansas City, Kan., and Benton, Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Suzzanne Nickle, Tonganoxie, and Linda Vincent, Monticello, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
