R. Paul Schuyler of Dover, DE, formerly of Denton, MD, died Sunday, May 31, 2015, at the Homestead Manor in Denton. He was 92 years old. Born in Harrington, DE on December 24, 1922, Mr. Schuyler was the son of the late Samuel Edward Schuyler and Margaret Ann Stubbs Schuyler. His first wife, Elizabeth J. Schuyler, died in 1996. He had lived in Caroline County most of his life and had moved to Delaware in 2005. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He had been a carpenter for various contractors, retiring in July 1987. He was a member of the 7937 Caroline County Memorial VFW in Greensboro, MD. Mr. Schuyler is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peg) Schuyler of Dover, DE; two daughters: Barbara Jean Schuyler of Harrington, DE and Joyce S. Frazer of Dover; a step-daughter, Vicky Dean of Wilmington, DE; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 4 sisters, and one great grandchild. The funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 4th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 12 until 1 before the service. The interment will be in the Concord Cemetery on Federalsburg Road, Federalsburg, MD.
