Royce M. Bland, age 43, died April 19, 2004, in Los Angeles. He grew up near Garden City, TX; the outdoors was his favorite place; he learned to hunt birds and rabbits and loved to fish. At age 11 years his family moved to Midland County; he graduated from Greenwood High School.
Royce lived in the Midland/Odessa area until October 2003, working at oil fields, gas pumping stations, and plastics manufacturing plants. He was certified in air conditioning and high vacuum systems. Royce attended the North A Church of Christ in the 1980s.
A graveside funeral service will be held for Royce at the Tahoka Cemetery on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:00 PM. He will be interred in the family plot there.
