Barbara Stimpson Goulder lovingly called “Bobbie” by friends and family was called home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015.

She was born March 22, 1937 in Gilt Edge, TN. She married the love of her life Lexie Goulder at the age of 19.

She leaves behind three children, Randy (Rhonda) Goulder of Munford, TN, Debbie (Joe) Griffin of Atoka, TN and Terry (Jennifer) Goulder of Naperville, IL. She also leaves eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, Doris Stimpson, Gladys Reynolds and Brenda Santhony and a brother, George Stimpson.

She was a devoted member of the Brighton ARP Church. She was a great prayer warrior and loved spending time with her friends quilting and socializing. She loved gospel music and rarely missed a Lawrence Welk Show. She always looked forward to the visits of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lexie Goulder, her father, George Stimpson, mother, Lena Stimpson, sisters, Mildred Rose and Jean Whitesides, and brother, Jimmie Stimpson. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at a catered reception from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel on June 4. Funeral services will be held at the Brighton ARP church, Friday morning, June 5 at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Helen Crigger Cemetery, Munford TN. Munford Funeral Home Munford Chapel 901-837-0123
