Agnes was a lifelong area resident and one of the early members of St. Agnes Parish. She was a founding member of The Mothers Club, now the St. Agnes School PTA. All of her children and many of her grandchildren attended St. Agnes School. For many years, she worked alongside her husband in the operation of the family business, Raymond Marsee and Son Foundation Repair Company.

Agnes was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Barbara Ann Latenser, in 1992 and her husband of 73 years, Ray, who died April 10, 2000. She is survived by four children: son, James R. Marsee and wife Ellen; daughters, Mary Franzen and husband Ron, Sharon Marsee , Judy Glynn and husband Kevin; son-in-law, John E. Latenser; sisters-in-law, Harriet Marsee and Kathleen Enfield.

Following the deaths of her sister and brothers many years ago, Agnes continued a deep and loving interest in the lives of their children, Margie Simondes, Alvin Engelhardt, and Thomas Engelhardt. Her 33 grandchildren were enriched by the example of her daily life, deep faith, loving interest and quiet pride in their lives and accomplishments. She was a beloved "Grandma Aggie" to her 53 greatgrandchildren. She held and shared a great love and devotion to the Virgin Mary and her life was an affirmation of that love and devotion. Agnes ' family thanks the many friends who showed kindness and concern during her last years, and thanks in a special way to her principal caregivers, Brenda, Rose and Lynn.
