I owe a debt of gratitude to L.A., coordinator for the Tippecanoe County Indiana Pioneer Cemetery Restoration Project (and the State INPCRP!), for showing me the ropes and working hard on cleaning, repairing, and reading stones in the Wise Cemetery. Thanks L.A.! I enjoyed every minute of it.
I put this Thank You note in this particular posting because you can see from the two photos of this stone, what a difference there is after cleaning. "Elizabeth, wife of" was not visible before cleaning. I thought I had two Davids, instead of David and Elizabeth.
