Grover C. Rahiser, Jr., 91, was born in Evans City, Pennsylvania on February 7, 1924 to Grover C. Rahiser, Sr. and Magdalena Martha Wahl Rahiser. He had a degree in mechanical engineering from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He worked for United Engineering in Pittsburgh until he retired in January of 1987. He married Earla Mae Clark in 1946. They were married by his uncle, Rev. Dr. William Pfeifer, a Lutheran minister. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Earla; two daughters, Donna Eppinger and her husband Douglas and Kim Mikulan and her husband David; six grandchildren, Eric Eppinger and his wife Elaina, Kari Eppinger Dehart and her husband, Arthur, Dana Eppinger, Kevin, Daniel and Brandi Mikulan and three great-grandchildren, Arianna, Shawn and Julius Gafoor. He was a World War II veteran in the Army, stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea. He was a 50 year member with the Masons. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Ocala, FL. After a private service here there will be a graveside service in Pennsylvania.
