Mary A. Hatch, 82, Route 11, Watertown, died Sunday morning at the Samaritan Medical Center. Her funeral will be 3:00 pm Wednesday at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Rodman. Calling hours will be from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Hatch was born October 7, 1932 in Theresa, daughter of Paul and Mary Jobson Davis. She attended school in Theresa, following which she worked on local farms and later as a bartender at the Henderson Hotel. She married Clarence Hatch Sr. of Rodman. The couple tenant farmed locally. Mr. Hatch died in 1988.

Mary is survived by seven sons, William Hatch and his fiance Kathleen Kane, Watertown, Robert (Elizabeth) Hatch, Oneida, James (Patricia) Hatch, Watertown, James A. (Roseanne) Hatch, Dexter, Michael (Ann) Hatch, Watertown, Philip Hatch, Watertown, and Clarence Hatch Jr. and his companion Sheryl Murry, Massena; five daughters, Brenda (Ken) Glass, Mannsville, Barbara Ann Woodside, Watertown, Candy Byington and her companion Wayne Redden, Watertown, Bonnie (Claude) Baker, Alexandria Bay and Tina (Kirk) Sykes, Dexter; as well as many grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Donna (Nelson) Schorr, Watertown, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by four brothers, Harley Davis, Carl Davis, Buddy Davis and Sid Davis; and four sisters, Rose Davis, Betty Vasek, Doris Burns and Norma Barden.
