Lawrence Michael Malek, age 68, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas, he retired from the Houston Fire Department after 31 years of service. He served his country honorably with the Army as a SPEC 4 in Germany. He truly loved his family and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to all. He also enjoyed travelling, his longhorn cattle, and was an excellent griller of Ribs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Lena Malek; sister, Agnes Machacek; and father and mother-in-law, Albert and June Zingelmann
