Services and burial for Henry P. Hanson, 76, who died Saturday night, will be Wednesday morning.
Hanson, 105 N. Malcolm, had been ill for three weeks. He died at Memorial Hospital in Topeka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Gibson-Koch Chapel with the Rev. Warren M Jones in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Hanson was an employee of the Santa Fe Railroad in Chanute. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers.
He is survived by a son, Herbert W. Smith, Shawnee Mission; a stepson, Ben Rowand, Topeka; and several nieces and nephews including Helen Larson, 105 S. Plummer.
He was married to Flora Jones in 1919 and then Pearl Lewin in 1942. She died in 1945 and he married in 1946 Edith Rowand, who died in 1968.
