Roger Arns passed away peacefully at his home on May 25, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on December 2, 1944 to Grace and Bill Arns. After graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Army where he taught radar equipment procedures. He was honorably discharged in 1967.

In 1968 he moved to the Seattle area where he was employed by Cascade Machinery & Electric for over 43 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol; two sons, Brian and wife Tracy and Doug and Kim, three grandsons and one great-grandson; three sisters and one brother and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held on Fri. June 5 at 12:30 at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. A Celebration of life will be held on Sat. June 6

from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Kent at 25406 - 97th Place So. where lunch will be served.
