Pearl Reece Looper, 91, of 916 Railroad Street, wife of the late Wayne C. Looper, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Tamer Aiken Reece.

Mrs. Looper was a homemaker. She was a member of Secona Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a dedicated Christian, faithful to her church and family. She found happiness in serving others through her cooking and baking.

Surviving is her daughter, Katherine L. Porter (Don) of Pickens; two granddaughters, Susan P. Sill (David) of Easley and Debbie P. King (Ron) of Pickens; the delights of her life, her great grandchildren, Emily Moore, Eric King and Andrew King.

Mrs. Looper was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by five sisters and four brothers.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Looper's life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Secona Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Vision Growth Fund of Secona Baptist Church, 234 Secona Rd., Pickens, SC 29671.
